David Walliams lost his contract with book publisher.
Best-selling writer for children and entertainer David Walliams has been dropped by his publisher HarperCollins UK, according to an announcement.
An official for the company commented: "After careful consideration, and with the guidance of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing any new titles by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the conclusion was reached following an inquiry regarding claims about questionable actions involving young women.
The firm declined to specify the motivations for this action, stating: "We refrain from speaking about confidential company decisions."

Walliams stands as a most prolific writers for young readers, with sales exceeding over six tens of millions of copies globally in five dozen languages.

His bibliography includes over four dozen titles in total, encompassing a Christmas book titled *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins last autumn.
A Dual Career
His career breakthrough occurred on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has also won National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was made an OBE in 2017 in recognition of his work for charity and the arts.
This development follows the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's recent CEO this past October.
